Smith Landscapes Ltd has been a long time coming. My story isn’t so different from yours — we all grow up with dreams. Mine just happened to be outdoors, with my hands in the soil and a vision for creating something lasting.
I began grafting as a young, aspiring landscaper at just 16 years old. From my very first job, I knew I wanted more than to simply be an employee. Working for various firms across Surrey and beyond, I absorbed everything I could — from mowing lawns and laying turf to complex garden maintenance and turning a client’s creative dream into reality.
Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of working on some truly extraordinary projects — from luxury estates to properties owned by footballers, celebrities, and high-profile clients who wanted nothing less than perfection. Whether it was patios, decking, paving, fencing, walls, or driveways, I took pride in ensuring every detail was finished to the highest possible standard.
As I valued the experience, I also felt the limitations. Working under others meant being confined by schedules and expectations that often didn’t allow for the creativity, craftsmanship, and attention to detail I believed every garden deserved. That’s when I knew it was time to take my own path.
And so, Smith Landscapes Ltd was born — built from the ground up with the same dedication I’ve had since day one.
Now, with over 15 years of experience, I’ve honed my craft and expanded my skills to include complete garden transformations and even swimming pool design and construction. Over the past few years, I’ve built bespoke pools and surrounds from scratch, giving clients the perfect space to enjoy those long summer days.
